Since 2007 that it’s organized in France the World Championship of Joelettes, an annual event in favour of deficient, that promote tolerance and respect by the difference.

The Go Outdoor, as national representative by its brand Floema, and as organizer of AXtrail/UTAX, bet again this year 2015 in Joelette’s Race: the AXtrail of Inclusion. The event integrates the 8th edition of AXtrail®series, and the 4th edition of UTAX. This project it’s an initiative of Go Outdoor, that is supported by the experience of ARCIL.

The Joelette is a chair all terrain with just one wheel, that allow the practice of pedestrianism and the access at mountainous areas or with irregular ground, to all the people with reduced mobility. Kids or adults, even those with a higher degree of dependence, can enjoy the contact with nature, with the help of two or more accompanying.

From the sportive point of view, the Joelette allows any person with physical, sensory or mental disabilities participate in a sportive competition, assuming the lead role, and traveling rails otherwise inaccessible.Teams must consist of a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 elements: the passenger (person in a situation of dependency) and 2-4 companions (athletes, family members or friends).

The route will feature about 10 km away.

Supplies: There will be 1 supply of solid and liquid in the middle of the race and the final supply.
Material required: The main athlete must wear cycling helmet.
